By accessing or using EditAssist (the “Service”), operated by Solvent Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
EditAssist is an AI-powered video editing assistant that provides tools for footage management, timeline creation, colour matching, audio synchronisation, and natural language editing commands. The Service includes the website (editassist.dev) and the desktop application.
During the beta period, EditAssist is provided free of charge. Beta features may be incomplete, contain bugs, or change without notice. We make no guarantees about the availability or reliability of beta features. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the beta programme at any time.
When paid plans become available, subscription fees will be billed in advance on a recurring basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
You retain full ownership of all video footage, projects, and other content you create or process using EditAssist. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. The desktop application processes your content locally on your device.
You agree not to:
The EditAssist name, logo, software, and website design are the intellectual property of Solvent Studio. You may not use our branding without prior written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EditAssist and Solvent Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service.
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
