Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EditAssist (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by FEEETZY LTD, trading as EditAssist, a company incorporated in Dublin, Ireland. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

EditAssist is an AI-powered video-editing assistant that provides tools for footage management, timeline creation, colour matching, audio synchronisation, and natural-language editing commands. The Service includes the website (editassist.dev) and the desktop application.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one account without our permission

4. Subscriptions & Payments

EditAssist offers paid subscription plans. All prices are quoted in GBP and are VAT-exclusive; applicable VAT will be added at checkout based on your location.

• Starter: £20 per month, including £20 per month of usage at our standard rates
• Pro: £100 per month, including £100 per month of usage at our standard rates, premium model default, and priority processing

Payment processor. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. EditAssist never stores your full card details. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant and handles all card data directly.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically every month on the anniversary of your sign-up date, at the then-current price, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access until that date.

14-day right to cancel & waiver. Under EU consumer protection law you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital service and receive a refund. Because our service begins immediately, by completing checkout you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your statutory 14-day cancellation/withdrawal right for any credit that has already been consumed. You retain the right to cancel for any unused credit in line with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Usage credit. Each plan includes a fixed amount of usage at our standard (marked-up) rates that resets at the start of every billing period on a use-it-or-lose-it basis. The included figures (£20 for Starter, £100 for Pro) are the value of that usage measured at EditAssist’s standard rates; the actual amount of compute you receive varies by model. Unused included credit does not roll over. You may purchase additional top-up credit in amounts from £5 to £500. Top-up credit remains valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Credit is consumed at different rates depending on the AI model you choose; we do not guarantee that £1 of credit equals £1 of compute on any specific model.

VAT & B2B reverse charge. Irish VAT (VAT IE4494303QH) and any other applicable local VAT are added at checkout according to your billing location. If you are a VAT-registered business in the EU, you may provide your VAT ID during checkout to apply the reverse-charge mechanism where applicable.

5. AI Sub-processors

To provide AI functionality, your content and prompts may be transmitted to third-party AI providers that act as sub-processors. These currently include:

• Anthropic
• OpenAI
• Google
• Microsoft Azure

We only share the data necessary to generate a response and do not authorise these providers to use your content for training their models.

6. Your Content & Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all video footage, projects, prompts, and other content you upload or create using EditAssist (“Your Content”). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over Your Content.

By using the Service, you grant FEEETZY LTD a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you, including transmitting it to the AI sub-processors listed above.

The EditAssist name, logo, software, and website design are the intellectual property of FEEETZY LTD. You may not use our branding without prior written consent.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to generate harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single-seat account
• Use the Service to distribute malware or harmful content
• Circumvent usage limits, credit systems, or billing controls

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FEEETZY LTD and EditAssist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately; any remaining included credit lapses, while purchased top-up credit is handled in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ireland.
